Hidden Creek Dental is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist (Dental Office) Near Boise, ID

We are looking to hire a personable dental receptionist who is skilled in communication and scheduling techniques to ensure that dental patients’ appointments are appropriately scheduled, rescheduled, or canceled, depending on the needs of the patients.

To be successful as a dental receptionist in our practice, you should be able to organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. Superior communication and organizational skills are desireable. Ultimately, a top-performing dental receptionist will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice while promoting a patient friendly environment.

Dental Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and dismissing patients.
  • Build and maintain office schedule.
  • Follow-up on unscheduled treatment.
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Preparing patient charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
  • Data entry - updating patient records.
  • Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine patient benefits.
  • Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
  • Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and answering emails.

Dental Receptionist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Compensation: determined by experience and results

Location: Boise, Idaho

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
