The Health Director will foster a safe, secure, and inclusive camp environment. Duties include storing, handling, dispensing and documenting all student medications, and maintaining the first aid station. In addition, the Health Director will ensure proper supervision ratios, assess risk in camp activities, and take necessary safety precautions. The Health Director reports to the Camp Director and may assist with other managerial tasks as needed, including parent communication, in-classroom support, and planning fun camp activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate would have experience in youth supervision, health, nursing, and/or risk management. Health Directors must have strong organizational skills, demonstrate proficiency in Google Suite, and communicate effectively via email, cell phone, and hand-written documents. In addition, the candidate would have a background working with kids and teens. The ideal candidate would have a college degree in a related field. Must obtain Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED certifications in order to be eligible to work in this position. Some jurisdictions require Health Directors to be at least 21 years old by the start of camp.
