We’re seeking talented individuals to mentor kids ages 7-18 in a fun, dynamic learning environment. We’re hiring tutors for both our virtual and in-person programs.

The Details:

• Teach at one of over 70 university locations across the US.
• Mentor the next generation of coders, game developers, digital artists, and entrepreneurs.
• Work a full-time schedule for the summer (hours can count toward internship credits)

PAY

The pay for this position varies by work location:

• California: $17-$19.50/hr
• Colorado: $18.50/hr
• New York: $16/hr
• Seattle: $20/hr for day staff, $1,200/week for staff working overnight schedule
• Other Washington locations: $16.50/hr
• Other locations: To be discussed in interview
• Online: This position pays $16/hr except in the following locations:
• California: $17/hr unless minimum wage is higher, in which case pay rate will be compliant with minimum wage.
• Employees in areas outside of California that have a minimum wage higher than $16/hr will be paid an hourly rate compliant with minimum wage.

This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law.

An iD Tech instructor:

• Is passionate about teaching technology to kids and teens.
• Is a flexible team player with strong communication skills.
• Has a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
• Will be at least 18 years old before their first day of work.

Preferred qualities:

• Teaching or tutoring experience.
• Camp experience or experience volunteering or working with children.
• Customer service experience.
• Ideal candidates have completed 1 years of college in a related field of study.
