We are seeking to hire a Nurse Navigator for our Medical Group –Boise Trauma Clinic! This position will be located off I-184 and Emerald. About the Clinic: More than half of patients admitted to the Saint Alphonsus Trauma Unit have musculoskeletal injuries; fractures, dislocations, and/or nerve, tendon, and soft tissue injuries. Providing optimal orthopedic care for these types of injuries is the focus of a highly skilled board-certified Orthopedic Trauma surgeon. At Saint Alphonsus hospital, we provide premier quality orthopedic treatment and surgical care. Our highly skilled and highly specialized orthopedic trauma surgeon is prepared to care for patients with serious injuries. Sub-specialization within orthopedics has led to significant advances in treatment of musculoskeletal conditions of all kinds. The care of serious injuries, and of severely injured patients with (frequently multiple) musculoskeletal injuries has become an orthopedic sub specialty area. About This Position: As a Nurse Navigator you would deliver the course of care and treatment as determined under the leadership of the service line that is being worked under. You would navigate the patient's care collaboratively across multiple disciplines, departments, and providers within the system to achieve seamless patient care. Includes the assessment and provision of all psychosocial resources necessary to support the patient and their family. General Requirements: General Requirements: 2 years of RN experience required. Education: An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE License/Certification: Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date. Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire. All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 6 months of the hire date.
