About Inner-City Computer Stars (i.c.stars):

Since 1998, i.c.stars has been running an intensive 16-week technology and leadership transformational learning program to break the cycle of oppression for inner-city adults. Our experiential and project based learning approach - rooted in systems thinking and problem solving - is core to how we develop Technology and Community Leaders. Over the past 25 years, our programs have transformed lives and strengthened communities, and we are committed to continuing to build upon that legacy. On average, our graduates’ earnings increase by 300%, with an 83% placement rate and a 90% industry retention rate after one year. Furthermore, many of our graduates go on to become homeowners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and advocates for change.
