Job Summary:
We are seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing the plans for multiple industrial construction projects and providing accurate cost estimates, takeoffs, bid requests and RFI's. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, architects and clients to ensure successful project completion within budgetary constraints.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain entry into the construction industry and work on large, unique projects. Experience is not a must, howeber hard work, an eagerness to learn, good communication skills and organizational skills absolutely are.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Create organized and clear takeoffs for each individual trade
- Reach out to vendors and subcontractors to get pricing
- Organize, update and track bidders lists for each project
- Responsible for leveling each bid for each trade
- Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to streamline the estimation process
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and implement cost control measures as needed
- Work closely with project managers to provide ongoing support and guidance during the construction phase
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of construction industry practices, materials, and methods
- Proficient in excel
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents a plus
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
