We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accountant to help manage our company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn new software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors
• Experience with inventory management and financial statement reporting is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in finance and accounting
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently

Job Duties:

• Supervise day-to-day finance and accounting operations
• Manage bank reconciliations, credit card transactions, and journal entries
• Prepare month-end entries and close books for each period
• Prepare year-end 1099 forms and quarterly sales taxes
• Follow up on customer deposits and final payments by recording checks, wires, and credit card transactions
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments and irregularities
• Resolve customer and vendor account discrepancies through communication with relevant teams
• Oversee or coordinate inventory processes related to financial reporting
• Ensure correct general ledger account codes for vendor invoices, utility bills, rents, insurance, etc.
• Reconcile vendor statements to avoid past due payments
• Maintain orderly accounting records by filing and scanning documents
• Use three-way match and maintain proper backup for vendor invoices
• Review and approve sales commissions and tech support bi-monthly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
