ICR has opportunities available for an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Electronics Assembler.
We are seeking an experienced, driven, and meticulous Manufacturing Electronics Assembler to help assemble, troubleshoot, and rework a variety of electro-mechanical assemblies. In addition to physical assembly of material, your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting engineering documentation as well as interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality) and material planners.
- Assembling and disassembling electro-mechanical assemblies including but not limited to rack components, full racks of equipment, and custom enclosures containing multiple sub-assemblies.
- Repairing and/or reworking circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
- Assembling a variety of cable assemblies and wiring harnesses.
- Documenting discrepancies or issues throughout the life cycle of the build.
- Providing feedback and offering potential improvements on the manufacturability of a design.
- Other various tasks as assigned.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and bills of material.
- General knowledge of manufacturing best practices.
- Critical thinking and organization skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to multi task and adapt to regularly changing priorities.
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
- Experience working in a fast paced, custom electronics manufacturing environment.
- IPC-A-610 Certified
- J-STD-001 Certified
