Job Description:
The primary role is to install and configure the Linux operating system as well as manage and maintain Linux-based systems on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
The position will be responsible for System maintenance by reviewing error logs, system backups, monitoring system performance to prevent slowdowns and disruptions, License deployments and setup, setting up a Linux Satellite server and deployment manager, and providing any needed technical support. The position will also help with the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and more.
This position will provide hands-on technical support for system security monitoring and optimizing the performance of these systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, this resource may be responsible for managing and maintaining other related technologies such as DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).
Strong knowledge of Linux administration, AWS, and networking are required for this role.
This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends to meet business needs.
