Iconic Icare is Hiring an Optical Technician Near Bedford, TX

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optical Technician to join our team. As an Optical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to optical services and patient care. This includes performing medical billing, providing retail sales support, managing front desk operations, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in optical or healthcare settings, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

- Perform medical billing tasks accurately and efficiently

- Provide support for retail sales of eyewear and optical products

- Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Maintain knowledge of optical systems and equipment

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

- Follow aseptic technique protocols to maintain a sterile environment

Experience:

- Previous experience in medical billing or retail sales is preferred

- Familiarity with front desk operations in a healthcare setting is a plus

- Knowledge of optical systems and equipment is highly desirable

- Understanding of medical records and basic physiology is beneficial

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively

- Proficient computer skills, including experience with optical systems and medical billing software

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, colleagues, and vendors

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy

- Familiarity with aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment We offer competitive pay based on experience.

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
