Description 

Design/Creative assistant will work with Design and Creative mostly for pitch, design, and photoshoot planning and prep. You will own certain processes and learn from designers about how we create garments, pitch decks, and digital assets. 

Responsibilities 

• Design 
  1. Assist in defining product details (main materials, silhouette details, fit and overall aesthetic) 
  2. Assist in market, fabric & trim research - requests samples/ submits based on a defined set of requirements 
  3. Assist in the development of initial tech packs for custom styles, including custom accessories for clients & garment modifications. 
  4. Attends fit sessions and keeps detailed records of changes and approvals. 
  5. Ensure all new styles & style updates are communicated to the creative team to maintain up to date assets 

• Sample Management 
  1. Ordering Samples 
  2. Returning Samples 
  3. Keep samples organized 
  4. Inventory 

• Pitch Decks 
  1. Assist in finding looks for pitch decks 
  2. Fill in missing garments in Airtable

• Photoshoots 
  1. Assist in seasonal photoshoot planning and coordination
  2. Participate in shoots dressing models, steaming, and ensuring all looks match shot list 

Misc Requests will typically include 

1. Research replacement styles (in stock) 
2. Help organize Airtable bases.

As a member of the Design/Creative Team, your responsibilities will include time-tracking, compliance with established workflows/processes and demonstrating proficiency in the suite of tools used by our department.

Compensation 

ICO Uniforms provides a competitive rate per hour structure, including benefit package with medical, dental, and supplemental insurance along with 401K savings plan. As well as Referral Bonus Program and Associate discount.
