Director of Property Management Responsibilities
- Develop and implement property management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income
- Oversee the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements
- Ensure all properties are properly maintained and repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Monitor market trends and competition to make recommendations for rental rate adjustments
- Enforce compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws
- Manage resident relations, including addressing complaints and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet company quality standards
- Prepare and present regular reports on property performance to ownership

- Provide leadership guidance in all departments, ensuring inspection are passed, delinquent rent is payed, and vacant units are turned over in a timely manner.

Director of Property Management Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in property management in a leadership role
- Familiarity with property maintenance best practices
- In-depth understanding of Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant laws
- Proficiency in property management software, preferably Appfolio!
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
