Icelandic Provisions is an early-stage healthy food company that provides essential nutrition rooted in the Nordic Food Philosophy. The flagship product, Skyr, is the only authentic Icelandic style yogurt brand in the United States that uses heirloom Skyr cultures and the original recipe that is beloved across Iceland.

The Nordic way of life is not only deeply rooted in the quality of the Icelandic Provisions’ products but runs deep in the organizational culture through the WÁOO (pronounced WOW!) values. Icelandic Provisions is on the hunt for a TikTok Content Creator to join our marketing team, on a contract basis, to take our TikTok presence to another level.

This part-time contract role (approximately 15 hours/week) will report directly to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager. While we're open to remote candidates, we prefer someone based in NYC, where our headquarters are located.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Responsible for executing TikTok social content, briefed in by social strategy and created in collaboration with the MarComsManager
• Able to embody and portray our quirky, optimistic, brand personality and voice in social content and in the comments section
• Create, shoot and edit TikTok content that aligns with marketing strategies, product launches and key campaigns
• Brainstorm inventive content ideas and topics that drive engagement, leverage new formats
• Engage with comments, as well as commenting on other relevant content to the brand in the platform
• Identify trends on the rise and quickly create content to grow engagement and community size within the platform, staying nimble and open to experimenting with new creative concepts
• Ability to research, script and shoot engaging content while maintaining brand authenticity
• Build and cultivate Icelandic Provisions' TikTok community
• Contribute to other social media projects where needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience creating content for TikTok
• Knowledge of the social media landscape and broader trends, possessing an awareness of the difference between successful consumer and brand content
• Portfolio demonstrating storytelling on TikTok and links to social media accounts
• Intriguing storyteller, out of the box thinker and engaging personality
• Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Premiere Rush, Photoshop) a plus to add in any other visual/video styling
• Deep understanding of TikTok trends and internet culture
