Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in a grocery store setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, retail sales, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff
- Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking products
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle budgeting and financial transactions
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions
- Coordinate shift schedules and manage day-to-day operations

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in retail sales and store management
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to recruit, train, and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus
