Position: The role you would play on our Multi-disciplinary Team

  • Provide targeted, evidence-based speech, language, and pragmatic therapy to a diverse caseload including patients who use AAC
  • Provide feeding therapy (mentorship program available!!)
  • Collect data and regularly monitor progress
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation of services
  • Collaborate and receive mentorship from SLPs to best implement treatment strategies
  • Provide supportive parent counseling and training
  • Collaborate respectfully with patients' clinical teams, including ICAN providers, school personnel and other agencies to ensure generalization of skills
  • Caseload may include patients with challenging behaviors
  • Ensure patient safety at all times
  • Use professional safety at all times
  • Use professional code of ethics to guide clinical decision-making
  • Follow all state and ASHA guidelines, including maintaining licensure
  • Abide by all HIPAA regulations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Washington State Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license 
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum*

*Applicants with fewer years of experience will be considered on an individual basis with a strong emphasis on background. We believe in attitude over aptitude!

Work hours: Will vary based on clinic need - clinic hours 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Shifts may include Saturdays.
