SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Warehouse Associate ensures that parts and or products are picked and packed for delivery to ICEE customers.

Warehouse associates on a daily basis will use an electric pallet jack or boxing up a parts order. Supports the Distribution Manager and Distribution Leads in a positive and accountable way and represent The ICEE company in a professional and courteous manner.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick orders
• Operate a pallet jack
• Prep, box and palletize for shipment
• Unload / load incoming and outgoing trucks
• Maintain work area and general upkeep of warehouse / office facility

COMPETENCIES

To perform this job successfully, the Warehouseman must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision.

• Customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations and service-oriented
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs required
• Forklift certification a plus, but will train
• Must have steel toe shoes (ICEE provides uniforms)
