This position provides a variety of tasks associated with warehouse lending. Requires multi-tasking with various duties within warehouse lending. The candidate is responsible for the review all new title attorneys and recertification and directing all incoming calls, manage and save all incoming funding documents. Responsibilities: Refers unusual or suspicious activities or transactions. Review all essential documentation to approve title agent / attorneys. Retain all information on each approved agent / attorney in warehouse database. Contributes to the fulfillment of the division and the bank objectives and goals. Performs as a team member, and completes any other job-related duties as assigned. Verify wire instructions on previously approved title companies / attorneys and update warehouse database and document system with updated wire instructions. Saving all funding documents and requesting missing or additional funding documents required on loan fundings. Back up other departments as needed and answer all incoming calls. Assist customers and direct them to current departments / staff. Update FEMA weekly and distribute to team members. Provide superior service levels to all internal and external customers Follow through with all checks and balances to avoid write up on compliance audit exams. Qualifications: Education Requirements and Minimum Experience High school diploma or GED and 5 years of banking experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of banking experience Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees Requires high level of organizational, interpersonal, communications, and customers relations skills Must have the ability to communicate effectively to customers, superiors, and peers Must be able to multi-task, be able to work with minimal supervision, and be a team player Able to work well under pressure and tolerate constant interruptions High level of concentration Proficient computer skills Professional appearance Knowledge of mortgage warehouse lending Knowledge of products and services in warehouse lending Pleasant telephone manner Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Job Details: Regular To all recruitment agencies: Independent Financial does not accept agency resumes without formal engagement of the agency.
