IBM is Hiring a Remote storage Brand Technical Sales Specialist

IntroductionIBM is currently seeking an Enterprise Brand Technical Storage Sales Specialist for IBM Systems. This position is responsible for the technical sales of IBM Storage Solutions to the US National Market in Missouri, Kansas, or Arkansas.
Brand Technical Specialists are technical consultants to IBM clients, IBM sales teams and IBM Business Partners. They deliver industry centric business solutions to clients of all sizes and markets. Brand Technical Specialists understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. Essentially, our experts provide technical sales support which may include collaborating with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; deliver Proof of Concept; develop and deliver technical education; support critical situations; design solutions; and answer technical questions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
When engaged for a specific opportunity or project, they are responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution. Tools they may use are e-configurators, FindIT, and Sales Connect.
We are seeking individuals interested in making an impact in selling IBM's storage portfolio in the US National market to maintain and grow existing revenue streams and relationships. You must be self-motivated, driven to win sales opportunities, and ready to interact daily with customers, colleagues, and business partners. Recent experience selling storage solutions to the Missouri, Kansas, or Arkansas is a plus
As a client-facing, technical sales professional, you will be guided by IBM's purpose – to be essential to its clients.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience in selling storage solutions
  • Ability to effectively collaborate, plan and strategize with teams
  • Ability to engage in local face-to-face client engagements 4-5x weekly
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience in Technical Storage Solution Sales
  • Experience in Storage systems and SAN/NAS technologies
  • Ability to engage in local face-to-face client engagements 4-5x weekly
