Job Description: Speech Language Pathologist PRN
Location: Fairfax, VA
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Providing therapy to patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
- Providing education to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with patients of all ages with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
