IAT Insurance Group is Hiring a Supervisor, Business Center Near Rolling Meadows, IL
- Help team members apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals; driving engagement and creating a climate where staff are motivated to do their best.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching conversations, team meetings, and individual one on one sessions with staff.
- Allocate resources to the work based on priority and volumes to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are achieved.
- Update procedure, workflows, training materials, and training videos.
- Coordinators the cross-training of staff on all assigned work queues and transactions.
- Escalate system or process issues that are impacting performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years of insurance operations experience within the property & casualty insurance industry
- Experience in driving production numbers and meeting SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures and business etiquette
- General knowledge of insurance practices and procedures, intermediate mathematics, and problem-solving techniques
- General computer skills including browser navigation and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in fast paced, high volume, and deadline-driven production environment
- Ability to create and maintain detailed instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication and comprehension skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- Ability to research complex, detail-oriented transaction or issues
- Ability to proactive prescribe assignments to team members based on work volume
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence others with and without direct authority
- Strong understanding of techniques required to lead, inspire, develop, and coordinate a team and individuals
- Proven ability to provide performance feedback in a timely manner
- Ability to lead team meetings, presenting updates that impact the department
- Ability to understand and report out on team metrics and results

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Management experience
