Position Summary : The Brand Ambassador reports directly to the Sales Manager, supporting our Maryland region. The Brand Ambassador is a customer-facing representative of our product and dispensary brands in Maryland.

This position will be responsible for engaging with the community to provide education and answer questions through in-store demos and events and communicating in-store promotions.

Must have excellent time management skills and be willing to work some evenings and weekends. Essential Functions : The Brand Ambassador is responsible for the following : Responsible for representing our brands and products in community, retail, and marketing events.

Become a brand expert, able to answer questions about product benefits and provide product knowledge. Build brand awareness and loyalty by creating memorable patient / customer experiences.

Must set-up and breakdown tables, tents, swag items and marketing collateral in-store and other events. Manage the distribution / inventory of marketing swag and collateral for events and giveaways.

Establish and maintain relationships with local community partners. Manage and adhere to established schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while ensuring accuracy and follow through.

Partner with and maintain productive working relationships with the dispensary, wholesale, and manufacturing teams. Works productively with internal cross-functional teams as well as with external partners.

Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent work experience Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a marketing, agency or promotional setting Experience in the cannabis industry Must be enthusiastic, engaging, cannabis-savvy, well organized and self-motivated.

Ability to communicate in an informative and professional manner. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills. Able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with a positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization and with external agency partners.

Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and be results-oriented. Knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Available to work some evenings and weekends. Working Conditions The employee may be subjected to work in environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor A / C, no A / C, motion and noise.

In this role, the employee will be required to operate a vehicle as an essential aspect of their responsibilities and include regular travel to fulfill job duties.

The employee should be comfortable and capable of driving for extended periods, adapting to varied road and weather conditions, and adhering to all relevant safety guidelines.

The ability to maintain focus and attentiveness while driving is crucial. The employee is expected to comply with all traffic laws and maintain the vehicle in safe and operational condition.

The position also requires a high level of scheduling flexibility and will occasionally include evening, weekend, and holiday work hours.

The employee will encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday and must have a high regard for self-management, time management, and scheduling of activities.

Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time, move around, and clearly communicate.

The employee must constantly position oneself to move freely around the store. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

The employee should have the ability to meet the physical demands of lifting, carrying and positioning heavy objects and should be familiar and comfortable using the assistance of push / pull manual transport equipment (ex : pallet jack, hand truck).

The employee will often need to use a ladder, with up to a 12’ extension and general hardware tools needed for common repairs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
