About Our Role



i4DM is looking for a Principal Consultant to join our team. Our Principal Consultant will solution, position, pursue, sell, and capture federal healthcare information technology service projects. You will work with and lead a team to understand the federal clients’ challenges, architect solutions, develop competitive approaches, trial close the approaches, and finalize and deliver winning solutions that capture the targeted programs.

Please note that while this role will involve some remote work, qualified candidates must reside in the Baltimore/Annapolis, Maryland area, Washington DC, or Northern Virigina and be willing to travel to client sites within this geography.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to develop an understanding of the clients’ stakeholders and motivations, challenges, current state, desired state, technical environment, and preferences.
  • Communicate with customers in person, by phone, email, and virtually
  • Maintain a current understanding of the federal health care market and latest technology and processes with a focus on DevSecOps, DataOps, and Cybersecurity.
  • Lead the design and architecture of winning solutions
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers and future customers to better understand their needs and trial close approaches and solutions
  • Develop and define key solution differentiators that separate i4DM from our competitors
  • Work to create appropriate partnerships with key strategic partners
  • Lead the team to deliver winning proposals to our federal and prime contractor clients
  • Work closely with internal pricing teams to deliver winning proposals
  • Act as a consensus builder with client and internally

Qualifications

  • Ability to solution in the capture selling cycle
  • Experience in working with large, heavily matrixed client and company environments
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character
  • Excellent client/customer relationship management skills at the senior level
  • Identify data trends, ask key questions, and drive root cause analysis of issues/problems – synthesize and develop real requirements/actions
  • Motivated, entrepreneurial, and solutions focused demeanor
  • Strong desire to drive growth and win business
  • Detail-Oriented
  • Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
