The role of Pharmacy Technician is at the forefront of our business, representing our company and delivering a range of products and services.

The responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician are expansive and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Working Hours :

Our store operates from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. We are closed on Sundays. Your work schedule will be based on either part-time or full-time employment and will cover various shifts within our business hours to ensure adequate coverage.

Please note that your duties may extend beyond the store's opening hours, requiring your presence before and after regular business hours.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• 1 year of Customer Service experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities :

• Utilize the Point-of-Sale system to process customer transactions
• Verify accurate pricing of products
• Operate the cash register, manage cash drawer, reconcile daily receipts, and prepare sales summaries
• Prioritize human connections, offering compassionate service to patients and caregivers
• Identify and resolve potential issues proactively
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, insurance companies, and prescribers
• Adhere to applicable Federal and State regulations, such as HIPAA, and uphold professional standards and ethics
• Follow company policies for patient safety, privacy, and security
• Expand clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge
• Balance quality and efficiency to contribute to patient outcomes and team goals
• Engage with customers, assisting them with products and services and resolving issues
• Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy practices in alignment with regulations and company policies
• Fill prescriptions accurately, check for interactions, and manage pharmacy workflow
• Report errors promptly and follow Quality Improvement Program guidelines
• Provide customer support over the phone, including processing manual claims
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and maintaining relationships with the medical community
• Support exterior and interior maintenance of the Pharmacy Department
• Comply with company policies, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers, and complete assigned tasks
• Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

• Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Uphold principles of record-keeping and inventory control

• Manage small instruments and objects with precision

• Resolve disputes, address customer concerns, and maintain accurate records
• Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Utilize sales experience, basic math, and telephone etiquette
• Exhibit a positive attitude and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment
