I3 Business Solutions is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team! It is a strategic and technical role responsible for providing high-level IT consulting and leadership to a variety of clients.

I3 is a Managed Services Provider providing technology solutions to small businesses across Michigan. This role is client-facing, and you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, understanding their business objectives and aligning technology strategies to support their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Consultation: Engage in comprehensive discussions with clients to understand their business needs, challenges and goals. Provide expert advice and recommendations on technology solutions that align with their strategic vision.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategic plans for clients, considering their budget, resources, and industry best practices. Identify areas of improvement and propose technology initiatives to enhance efficiency, security, and productivity.
• Technology Roadmapping (Strategic Business Reviews): Collaborate with clients to create technology roadmaps that align with their long-term business objectives. Identify emerging technologies and trends that can benefit their operations and provide competitive advantages.
• IT Governance: Establish IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance, risk management, and data protection. Develop and enforce IT standards, procedures, and best practices to maintain operational excellence.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met. Collaborate with vendors to source, implement, and maintain appropriate IT solutions for clients.
• Security and Risk Management: Assess clients' IT security risks and vulnerabilities, develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations (such as GDPR or HIPAA). Stay up-to-date with evolving security threats and recommend robust security measures.
• IT Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist clients in developing IT budgets, forecasting technology investments, and optimizing IT spending. Provide cost-effective solutions while maximizing the value of technology investments.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams at i3 Business Solutions, including technicians, engineers, and support staff, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex issues and provide expertise when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field
• 1 years of demonstrable experience in working, communicating and successfully fostering relationships with C-level executives
• 1 years of demonstrable experience in working in an advisory capacity, either in information technology or finance
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, security, and cloud technologies
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
• Strong business awareness and ability to align technology solutions with business objectives

Candidates with the following would have an advantage:

• Experience working for a Managed Services Provider
• 3 years of demonstrable experience in working, communicating and successfully fostering relationships with C-level executives
• 3 years of demonstrable experience in working in an advisory capacity, either in information technology or finance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000-$55,000 plus opportunities for commission
