Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to oversee and manage the export operations of our company. The ideal candidate should have more than 10 years experience with importing and exporting knowledge. This candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing shipments of goods to international markets efficiently.

Duties:

- Develop and implement effective export strategies to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth export processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for transportation services.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes.
- Analyze data on transportation costs, lead times, and performance metrics for process improvement.
- Oversee transportation planning to meet customer demands and shipping deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
- Supervise the collection, analysis, and reporting of export data for decision-making purposes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in export management, preferably in a distribution center or materials management setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to transportation systems and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in vendor management and negotiating transportation contracts.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems for efficient shipment tracking.
- Ability to drive process improvement initiatives within the export function.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1.00 - $100,000.00 per year
