Hyundai Power Transformers USA is Hiring a Quality Inspector (FT) Near Montgomery, AL
- Inspect, test, and audit the power transformer’s coil & coil assembly process in accordance to company standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor the quality and improvements of coil & coil assembly process.
- Effectively communicate with shop supervisor and other quality control members in case of any quality issues.
- Assist dept. in any QM program occasions, such as customer audit, ISO audits, 5S, shop cleaning, etc.
- Maintain and retain the daily quality inspection related documents, QIRs, NCM, etc.
- To inspect the incoming martial of coil & coil assembly shop and verify them in accordance the design speciation and HPT standards.
- To conduct root cause analysis and maintain the preventive action in case of NCR for QC inspectors.
- To use proper measuring tools during inspection the winding and sizing.
- To interoperate the special requirement for each coil & coil assembly, specified by design.
- Follow and obey the company rules and policies
- Use the proper PPE during perfuming the job in accordance the HPT policy.
- Follow the safe practices.
- Any other tasks may directed by quality team leader, manager or quality director.
- Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekend and holidays as required.
- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing (Quality inspection experience is preferred).
- High school diploma.
- Microsoft office knowledge.
- Positive attitude and personality.
- Ability to read and understand the design, electrical drawings, and BOM
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.
