Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced family practice Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our private clinic located in an industrial setting in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Join our team and make a difference in the health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for ongoing health maintenance and clinical management of stable chronically ill patientsDiagnoses and treats a variety of acute and chronic medical conditionsInitiates symptomatic treatment including worker's compensation casesPerforms periodic wellness evaluations and plans for employee health maintenanceCollaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomesEducates patients and their families on health management and disease preventionMaintains accurate and up-to-date patient records.Oversees day to day operations of clinic, open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pmCoordinates health and wellness planning with clinic and/or health staff and other appropriate personnelQualifications License to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of ARDEA prescriptive authority and ability to prescribe in the state of ArkansasMinimum of 2 years of experience as an APRN, preferably in an industrial or occupational health settingFamily practice certifiedStrong clinical skills and the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Education Master's Degree in Nursing with Family Practice Board Certification
