Operations Manager

Job Description:

The Operations Manager will oversee all critical aspects of operations. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role will be responsible for day-to-day operations within a CNC machining facility. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing practices, leadership, and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, create, and apply manufacturing best practices and standards
• Lead manufacturing projects as required, serving as a cross-functional team leader
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, performance, and service to meet company objectives
• Lead, develop, and manage a high-quality team, fostering a culture of excellence and fairness
• Collaborate with human resources to resolve safety, labor, and employee relations matters
• Implement and enforce daily management within facility operations
• Continuously improve business processes for quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Ability to travel as required (approximately 10%)
• Experience leading mid to large-sized manufacturing projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of CNC machining is a plus but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Excel, Outlook
