To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a Bids Administrator to join our growing team, all while being a leading example of our company culture.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read the Requests for Proposals, Quotes or Information (RFx) and work with the appropriate parties to assess fulfillment capabilities;
  • Gather relevant information with the internal departments;
  • Chair kick-off meetings for new RFxs and prepare meeting minutes;
  • Elaborate a plan and a schedule, execute follow-ups, for all the involved parties to ensure response deadlines are met;
  • Analyze internal questions concerning the RFx before formulating responses for the customer;
  • Support the Pricing Managers for the pricing portion of the response;
  • Modify the information received from internal departments to ensure a top-quality presentation to the customer;
  • Formulate detailed and persuasive responses which will present the added-value of the Hypertec Group;
  • Act as a subject matter expert of the RFx for the duration of the awarded contracts;
  • Maintain and organize repository of proposals for future reference, as well as track KPIs for percentage of awarded RFx.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • College diploma is preferred but not required;
  • 2-5 years of relevant business experience in Bids Administration;
  • Experience managing Public Sector Bids is an asset;
  • Experience in an IT company is an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required;
  • Attention to detail, ability to set priorities and proven success in meeting deadlines;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently;
  • Proficiency in using computers and are comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and utilizing the internet.
