Hyperbaric Oxygen Clinic is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Part-time Near Carmel, IN

We are hiring a part-time Receptionist to manage our front desk M-F from 1:00 pm to approximately 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm (closing time depends on patient scheduling). The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality with customer-focused experience, while also being perceptive and disciplined. It's a small company so you need to be able to work independently. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for our patients. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy people, are computer literate, and are committed to doing excellent work then we’d like to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and warmly welcome clients as soon as they arrive, answer visitor questions, and alert staff to patient arrival. Assist new clients with paperwork.
  • Answer, screen, and forward calls from a single line phone system using proper etiquette.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain office Outlook calendar.
  • Provide basic and accurate information about the business in person or by phone.
  • Perform light typing, data entry, copying, scanning, and filing.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain the office, keeping it clean and free of clutter; keep up with daily laundry.
  • Keep confidential all business and client information.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience as a front office receptionist or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (computer, printer, and scanner)
  • Professional attitude and polished, casual, appearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Pays attention to detail and takes pride in service provided
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Ability to operate washer and dryer and fold laundry
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Punctual

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
