PRACTICE FACILITY CONCESSIONS ATTENDANT

General Summary

$15/hr. plus tips. Part-Time with option to work year around.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. This position is responsible for greeting guests in a pleasant manner, operating the Point-of-Sale system, and collecting money for purchased food and beverages in a timely manner.Checking in guests to play the South par 3 course, as well as ensuring that our guestshave an enjoyable experience at the driving range.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Making sure the concession stand is locked and alarm set at the end of night shift.
2. Check identification for age-restricted items, such as alcoholic beverages.
3. Maintaining inventory counts in concessions during and at the end of each shift.
4. Make sure to fill out inventory sheets at the end of each shift for the next shift to restock.
5. Ensure that you are following all Adams County food safety guidelines during each shift. Making sure that each station’s temperature and sanitation levels are checked three separate times throughout the day.
6. Notify supervisor if you see or need assistance with a guest.
7. Assure that equipment is running as expected and report any maintenance problems that may need to be addressed.
8. Maintain a clean and healthy environment for both fellow team members and guests.
9. Collects the empty baskets left at each bay after guest is done hitting balls.
10. Checks in and ensures guests have paid to play the South Par 3 course.
11. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and Abilities Required:

1. Must be 21 years of age.
2. Have knowledge of how to use an iPad or desk top computer.
3. Must be able to multi-task under pressure.
4. Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
5. Must be dependable and punctual with transportation to and from work.
6. Must be prepared with the items you need to do the job such as uniform, name tag, coats, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.
7. Must be courteous and work together with your fellow team members.
8. Must be cordial and polite, creating a positive guest experience.
9. Must be familiar with how to use an AED in the event of an emergency out on the course.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

1. Must be able to lift and carry fifty pounds.
2. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
3. Must be able to work at indoor and outdoor temperatures, with extreme heat & cold.
4. Environmental conditions encountered will include wind, rain, snow, sleet, and dust.
5. Must be able to work without direct supervision and with a great deal of autonomy.

Education/experience:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Must be TiP’s Trained Certified within 30 days of employment.
