General Summary

Personal Trainer:

Under the supervision of the Fitness Manager, Personal trainers will help their clients achieve their fitness goals with proper technique, corrective exercise, and controlled form. Keeping their clients safe and engaged. A personal trainer will be responsible for setting their own schedule with clients. A personal trainer will be responsible for following up with all clients on a weekly basis, signing up with clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Must obtain a nationally accredited Personal Training Certificate.
2. 1 year minimum experience with one on one client training.
3. Provide exceptional customer service.
4. Help clients work through injuries and keep them safe.
5. Log all sessions and create workout plans for clients.
6. Be able to sell personal training packages to current and future clients.
7. Understands and can use training software.
8. Basic communication skills.
9. Show proper form and technique.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

1. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
2. Must work well with others.
3. Must maintain constant communication.
4. Must be able to pivot training methods and customize training.

Education/Experience:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
