We are looking for a fun, reliable and competent Caregiver to care for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents in a professional and compassionate manner. It’s an often demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the days and every other weekend- But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since the residents are very thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. Experience working with seniors is a plus!!! You must be able to follow directions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients, as well as be an ambassador for our Community, treating all residents, families, managers, visitors, vendors, and outside agencies with Respect and a smile. You will need to be trained to pass medication! Experience with this is rewarded!

Responsibilities

• Passing prescribed medication to residents
• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility around the community
• Assist clients with personal care, transferring, dressing, hygiene, showers and toileting
• Serve resident meals, and assist residents with eating if needed
• Perform housekeeping duties for the residents and the community
• Be a pleasant, respectful and supportive companion and co-worker
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• POSITIVE attitude
• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, and follow your supervisor's direction
• Respectful and compassionate at all times. Drama-free
• Good time management skills, Willing to put phone away while you are working
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance

Salary based on experience, Certificates, and work history.

Background screening and Drug Testing is Required.
