HyggeHus is seeking a self-motivated, proficient, remodeling expert with diverse construction skills and an instinct for customer service to serve as a Remodeling Forman. The Foreman will perform a broad range of tasks, ranging from rough and finish carpentry skills, drywall hanging, tile install is a plus. Primarily, coordinating the flow of work through the job site. The Foreman is responsible for communicating and acheiving daily production goals, anticipating potential issues and raising them with the project manager or office personel, manage problems as they arise, engaging and leading their team to work efficiently to meet the daily goals set forth in the schedule. All candidates are expected to have reliable transportation and tools as well as unquestionable experience in the remodeling industry. You should be knowledgable about local building codes, especially where applicable to additions, kitchens, bathrooms, attics and basements. Smartphone (preferably iPhone) is required.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Getting to know your crew, and figuring out day to day jobs that will challenge each team member but that they can still perform with a reasonable degree of proficiency. Be able to pass on strategies and techniques to the team members as necessary, clearly and compassionately. Identify equipment and material needs that have not been provided and communicate that to the project manager prior to on-site work.
Keep your crew safely but efficiently on track and productive.
Support crew in solving production questions and issues, understand when a problem can be solved at the crew level and when the project manager should be involved.
Be able to perform proficiently during deconstruction, framing, drywalling, finish carpentry, tile work is a plus, window and door installation, punch list work and other work assigned as needed.
Ensures that crew and trade partners leave job sites clean and organized, performing job site cleanup when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
