Pay Range:$82,000 - $92,000

Job Summary: The Functional Specialist is the solution expert of one or more functional areas/modules in MES. The Functional Specialist is considered the “go-to” person when detailed set up or solution design questions are to be addressed on a functional area. This person reports to the MES Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

• College Degree in IT/Business or Equivalent of seven years’ work experience
• Minimum five years plus working in operation support of MES Systems
• Minimum five years’ experience working with application configurations and workflows
• Minimum five years’ experience defining business requirements and Functional Design Documents
• Minimum five years’ experience integrating MES/ERP with other business systems

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• BCS Practitioner Certificate or PRINCE2 certification preferred
• Expert understanding of business functions: Shop floor and Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Planning, Quality and ERP/Process control integrations
• Integration understanding
• Effective communication skills
• Customer Oriented

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the creation of Functional Design Documents including detailed solution design and test scenarios/scripts
• Performs second level support
• Act as a liaison with the businesses to proactively engage with solution proposals
• Collaborates with the Solutions Architect to ensure global template consistency and that solutions fit across multiple locations
• Supports multiple projects simultaneously
• Reviews and supports testing of the developer code for developments in conjunction with the developers and liaises and resolves faults identified by the business
• Travel required to support projects
