Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Manager Surgical Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality patient care while adhering to cost-effective practices and maintaining compliance with patient care standards and performance metrics. Duties include supervising operating room clinical staff, managing nursing care in surgical and procedural areas, assessing and documenting the nursing process, and serving as a resource for staff development. The role also entails demonstrating behavior in line with the mission and vision of our sponsors, and adhering to workplace conduct guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate quality patient care within budget constraints and in adherence to established standards.
• Supervise operating room clinical staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Oversee nursing care for patients in surgical and procedural areas, including assessment, planning, evaluation, and documentation of the nursing process.
• Serve as a resource for staff development, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Demonstrate behavior that reflects organizational values and adheres to workplace conduct guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years of progressively responsible nursing management experience in an acute care hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNOR and/or CPAN certification upon hire

Compensation:

• Base Salary: USD $139,256 to $226,720
• Full-time position with full benefits
• Relocation assistance not available
• No commission, bonus, or overtime eligibility
• Interview travel expenses not reimbursed
