Role Overview :
In the crucial role of Manager of Surgical Services, you will oversee the delivery of exemplary patient care within the surgical services department. This position is instrumental in ensuring care is both high-quality and cost-efficient, adhering to established patient care and performance standards. You will be directly responsible for the supervision of operating room clinical staff and the management of nursing care in surgical and procedural settings. This role involves thorough assessment, planning, evaluation, and documentation within the nursing process as required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and manage patient care in alignment with clinical practice standards.
- Implement quality assurance measures and monitor clinical practice.
- Supervise operating room staff, overseeing patient care in surgical areas.
- Act as a pivotal resource for staff performance and development.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of our sponsors, demonstrating professional conduct.
Qualifications :
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, valid California RN license, American Heart Association BLS certification, and a minimum of 3 years in nursing management or leadership roles within an acute care setting.
- Preferred: CNOR and/or CPAN certification.
