Hydration room is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Irvine, CA

Description:
  • Operations

o Oversee non-medical operations for all 25 locations

o Plan, monitor, analyze and improve key metrics for day-to-day operations

o Oversee staff and clinic scheduling for all Wellness Coordinators (non-medical staff)

o Oversee callout and backup staffing strategies, develop programs to reduce store closures

o Be active in the clinics, rolling up your sleeves and engaging with patients and staff

o Responsible for security of buildings including alarms, security cameras, lockboxes

o Ensures staff & cleaners keep clinics clean, well-maintained, and up to brand standards

o Oversee cash management and non-medical inventory processes

o Oversee facilities/maintenance of clinics

o Coordinate with IT to resolve issues and ensure IT systems meet clinic operating needs

o Heavily involved with POS, Customer Service, Inventory and Maintenance systems

o Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives

o Review and make revisions to the Company's current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to more effectively manage operations and projected growth.

o Maintain a safe workspace by enforcing standards and procedures, and keeping compliance with legal regulations.

  • People

o Directly oversee and manage District Clinic Managers. Indirectly oversee all Wellness Coordinators (front desk receptionists)

o Partner with HR on staffing, hiring, onboarding and ongoing development of all non-medical staff. Ensure each clinic has appropriate staff levels

o Lead communication efforts for District Clinic Managers and Wellness Coordinators

o Work with the HR to resolve staff concerns and identify and address potential liability issues

o Assess talent and provide developmental plans to support growth and improved retention

o Develop operational org structure and teams to support growth plans

  • Strategic & Financial

o Collaborate with senior management in the development of performance goals, long-term operational plans and financial and budgetary plans and metrics

o Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs

o Directly involved in managing cost analysis on all locations to ensure consistent profitability, and to identify and make improvements where needed

o Responsible for the execution of the Company's weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term goals in line with the Company's Vision, Mission and Core Values

o Work collaboratively with other leaders and other departments to support their efforts in accomplishing Company goals.

  • Customer Service, Sales & Marketing

o Empower team to handle customer issues in a manner that supports long-term relationships while also protecting the business

o Visit clinics regularly to observe, provide feedback, and improve customer experience

o Review all NPS scores and customer reviews with team to identify patterns and opportunities to improve, implementing change initiatives to drive better results

o Work with Marketing team and your staff to develop membership sales skills

o Work with the Marketing team on event plans, marketing strategies, new product launches

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to develop and lead a team that drives results, with the ability to engage and motivate others
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Successful track record of talent recruitment, development, retention and promotion
  • Strong customer service orientation, an obsession with optimizing the client experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong spreadsheet, word processing, and email communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Five or more years in a leadership role in a field related to our industry
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Admin preferred
  • 5 years in multi-unit retail management
  • 5 year's experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality industries

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift from floor to waist up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires standing and/or sitting for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess the ability to utilize visual and auditory senses to complete all job duties as assigned.
