HYDRADRY is Hiring a Claims Specialist Near Orlando, FL

Hydradry Inc was established in 1974 as your Water Damage Specialists! We are looking for a motivated and versatile individual to help our team grow. Our services consist of water, fire, mold remediation and restoration. We are in search of a claims coordinator.This person will need strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. This includes speaking with Adjusters and the insured, coordinating with Project Managers about new and current claims and is able to follow through on a claim from start to finish.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Create a relationship with our commercial and residential Insurance Adjusters, Insurance Agents, and Customers.
  • Utilize the several programs required to process claims add notes and billing. (MICA, Xactimate, Housecall Pro)
  • Follow up with Adjusters, the insured and the technicians working on the job sites.
  • Assist with answering phones.
  • Schedule new jobs coordinating with Project Managers in Florida and Texas / Enter in Housecall Pro
  • Give claim to Estimators/Pull estimates from Xactimate and upload into Xactanalysis, as well as other systems (Contractors Connect / Alacrity)
  • MICA - Verify photos are present, Work Authorization, & COS (done once job is complete)
  • Upload invoices into Alacrity and notate in Xactanalysis
  • Enter preliminary cost in HCP. Validate WO is signed by correct homeowner
  • Work claim and leave notes accordingly (daily).
  • Ensure jobs with equipment are followed up on and current jobs are on schedule until complete.
  • Reviews reports in Xactanalysis to ensure Tech made notes in the field/Order pods/Contact adjusters, follow up on claims
  • Close out jobs – Ensure Final estimates are entered into Housecall pro and verify Photos/documentation are in MICA
  • Review Accounts Receivable and collect
  • Ensure invoices received are sent to Job Costing.
  • Perform Collections on any upcoming or past due invoices.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in multiple territories.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to build and present client solution/value-based proposals
  • Strong customer service focus and able to communicate effectively with customers
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Certifications preferred (Xactimate)
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Knowledge in remediation and restoration: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience with Xactimate (Preferred)
  • Experience with MICA (Preferred)
  • Experience with Housecall Pro (Preferred)
  • PREVIOUS ADJUSTER RELATED EXPERIENCE A PLUS!
