Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is rapidly growing from a 4 doctor practice to a 6 doctor practice, and we are hiring for multiple positions! Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is located in the beautiful Hyde Park Village area of South Tampa. We are proud to be a Low Stress Handling Certified clinic and a Certified Cat Friendly Practice. We offer a healthy combination of modern and integrative treatments that help keep our patients happy and healthy. We have wonderful clients with an excellent compliance rate and have been a staple in the Hyde Park community since 2002.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working in a small animal practice. They should also be friendly, detail-oriented, adaptable, possess amazing technician skills, be compassionate, have a strong work ethic, a team player, and have effective written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule:

We have 5 positions available. Some are PT and some are FT. All employees rotate Saturdays and we are open 8:30am-12pm on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, animal restraint, obtaining medical history, preparing sick pets for hospitalizations, emergency care, client education, obtaining lab samples, running diagnostic tests, assisting with doctors’ orders, administering and dispensing medications, and taking x-rays.

Compensation:

Based on experience but generally will fall between $17 - $21 to start, with opportunities for advancement after 90 days.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
