```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance professional to join our team. As a General Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a key role in our organization, as you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, and carpentry work
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement necessary repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on building systems and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to read schematics
- Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and external contractors
- Ability to supervise and provide leadership to maintenance staff
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
