Responsibilities:
  1. Buffet Setup and Presentation:
    • Set up buffet stations according to established standards, ensuring an attractive and inviting presentation.
    • Arrange food items, utensils, dishes, and condiments in an organized and visually appealing manner.
  2. Food Service:
    • Greet guests warmly as they approach the buffet and provide assistance as needed.
    • Ensure food items are replenished promptly to maintain a fresh and abundant selection.
    • Offer information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, upon request.
    • Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while satisfying guest appetites.
  3. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
    • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the buffet area throughout service hours.
    • Regularly wipe down counters, surfaces, and sneeze guards to ensure a sanitary environment.
    • Monitor and address spills, debris, and potential hazards promptly to ensure guest safety.
  4. Guest Assistance:
 
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, preferences, and special requests.
    • Assist guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, helping them make informed choices.
  1. Restocking and Inventory:
    • Keep track of inventory levels and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure a continuous supply of food items.
    • Coordinate with kitchen and management to restock items efficiently during and after service.
  2. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to maintain a cohesive and efficient dining operation.
    • Communicate any menu changes, availability issues, or guest feedback to relevant team members.
  3. Clean-Up and Breakdown:
    • Disassemble buffet stations at the end of service hours, ensuring proper storage and disposal of leftover items.
    • Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the buffet area in preparation for the next service.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
