Radians Inc. is recruiting for a professional Part-Time Security Officer for Weekend Shift a detail-oriented individual to guard and monitor company grounds to protect and secure the company's property, team members, and visitors. In this role, you will also maintain a high visibility presence. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have a valid TN Security Guard License/Certification
Days and Hours:
Friday - 6:00 p.m. until 10:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday (3:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m.)
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour and up (based on experience)
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, and monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
• Greets and directs visitors and maintains a visitor's log.
• Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
• Reasonably intervenes in situations that threaten the safety and security of our team members, visitors, and property.
• Escorts discharged team members, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
• Controls the entrance and departure of team members, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols.
• Provides detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
• Provides CPR or first aid when needed.
• Wears the company-provided uniform during working hours as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE and OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
•Handles basic issues and problems.
•2-3 years' experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• TN Security guard training certificate required .
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to assess your own behavior, while also paying attention to team members and visitors.

•Attentiveness.
•Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
•Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
