Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests during their stay.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and handle cash transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrival
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Proficient in using phone systems, computers, and other office equipment
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset
