Hyatt Farms Shooting Complex is Hiring a Range Safety Officer Near Polkton, NC
RSOs' primary role and responsibility are to maintain the safety of our range by overseeing all shooters within the bays (firing range). Additionally, RSOs may assist shooters in their fundamentals if requested or needed by the guest. Applicants must have an extremely firm understanding and practice of firearm safety. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and professional de-escalation skills are required.
RSO responsibilities are but are not limited to:
Maintenance of grounds/landscaping
May be asked to partner with clays
Maintains associated range building
Monitor and maintain safety on the firing line at all times by being observant and alert to each customer
Explain safety rules and ensure all safety rules are being followed by customers
Provide brief, basic firearms instruction to customers when needed
Manage the flow of shooters through the range by communication with the Pro-Shop desk/supervisors via radio
Assist with general range maintenance as needed to keep clean and safe
Ensure that each and every shooter has a safe and fun experience at our range
