Hyannis Air Service is Hiring a Payroll & HR Administrator Near Hyannis, MA

 

Summary:

The Payroll & HR Administrator will provide payroll and administrative support to the Human Resources Department with a focus on auditing, ensuring accuracy, and processing pilot payroll through ADP.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Must thoroughly understand and ensure compliance with our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) pay rules and requirements
  • Report updates, discrepancies, errors, and potential disqualifications to HR Leadership
  • Submit accurate, audited pilot pay information to Payroll Manager
  • Monitor and ensure timely follow-up with pilot pay distribution group emails
  • Build strong business relationships and be available and approachable for questions and assistance
  • Run accurate and timely scheduled and unscheduled reports
  • Research and resolve pay issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Maintain pilot personnel and pay information in ADP
  • Audit pilot records in ADP to ensure accuracy 
  • Assists the Payroll Manager with:
    • Processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis
    • Accurately filing monthly and annual taxes
    • Generate and audit W-2s
  • Primary payroll backup as needed, including processing bi-weekly payroll
  • Completes employment verifications in a timely manner 
  • Support the HR Department with administrative tasks in all aspects under the HR umbrella
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • 2 years of payroll experience preferred
  • ADP experience is highly preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including creating and formatting Excel spreadsheets is highly preferred
  • Professional; able to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Able to successfully handle multiple priorities and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist others
