• Creating and commissioning industrial controls systems, PLC software design, and HMI screens
• Responsible for PLC/HMI code development, code installation, debug on job site, and commissioning of the complete system
• Responsible for controls systems design, programming, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Will work with cross functional teams to solve equipment and customer issues.
• Debug and commission 840D controls system in motion control application.
• Cell debug on shop floor and during install full time at customer location.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

• 5-10 years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience
• The ability to program/write code/ladder logic from scratch
• Prior experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.
• Prior experience programming within customer-defined standards and templates
• Proficient with a variety of field bus networks including but not limited to Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet, etc. a plus.

• Ability to work independently without much supervision.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
