We are hiring an Inbound Supervisor with trucking or related experience to join the team at a provider of LTL transportation services.

Pay starts at $29.00 per hour, operating on 3rd shift 11:30pm-7:30am Monday-Friday, with overtime required as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent; college preferred
• Fluency in the English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• One year trucking or related experience
• Knowledge of hazardous materials and D.O.T. regulations
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software products
• Excellent problem-solving skills and good judgment is essential
• Ability to react to change productively and adapt to shifting priorities

As the Inbound Supervisor, you will develop effective plans for each inbound operation, plan delivery routes, and communicate the plans to the employees. The Inbound Supervisor is responsible for supervising dockworkers and drivers on unloading of strip trailers and loading of city delivery routes, and providing training, mentoring, and corrective action as needed.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Adjust routing to conform with available workforce or reduction in workload
• Review, plan, and prioritize commitments, appointment freight, and equipment requirements
• Maintain communication with linehaul driver issues during shift
• Maintain a positive work environment, effectively handling employee concerns, ideas, and suggestions for improvement
• Ensure all safety related issues, including federal, state, local, and company regulations and policies, are in compliance
