What you will be doing

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere of for guests
• Facilitate a team environment to ensure optimum guest service
• Responsible for preparation and execution of daily food service including cooking, food prep, cleaning, and any other required task requested by hotel leadership
• Responsible for food and beverage financial results and profitability to include meeting budgetary goals, establishing and ensuring quality standards are met and maintained
• Supervisory duties include interviewing, hiring, training employees, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees;

planning, assigning, directing work, and addressing complaints

Requirements

Requirements include basic reading, writing and Food & Beverage experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and / or holidays.

Skills &Experience

• Previous Food and Beverage Management or Supervisory experience preferred
• Good verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to provide overall customer satisfaction
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
• Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, customer relations and service standards
• Working knowledge of standard drink recipes
• Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
• Knowledge of daily maintenance and cleaning of venue
• Must have knowledge and proficiency with current point of sale system and cash handling reports
