Hutco, Inc. is Hiring an Outside Machinist Near Point, MS
Position: Outside Machinist
Job Location: Moss Point, MS
Hutco Branch: Moss Point, MS
Rate of Pay: $27.00 per hour
Description: Operate lathes, milling machines, drill press, surface grinding, blueprint reading, must be able to machine threads and cut tapered shafts. Must have the ability to proficiently run any machine assigned in the shop.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years shipyard experience• Excellent Blueprint Reading Skills
• Advanced setup operation and programming of Manual and CNC Machines
• Have the ability to set up and machine very large foundations
• Proficiently Operate a surface grinder
• Ability to work through and complete complex parts
• Ability to turn rudder stocks and long shafting or piping
• Producing filled bolts, chocks, and spherical chocks on manual and CNC machines
- Must pass drug test (HFT) and E-Verify and work all available shifts
